We underline The judiciary is once again under threat What is being prepared against Zef Brozi? What was expected and predicted by some analysts, namely that the end of August and September would be the days of the attack on the President of the Court of Cassation, Zef Brozi, was confirmed these days. As always, the "heavy artillery strike," in order to move further with other means according to the style of "10 Stalinist blows," was launched by the newspaper of the ruling party, "RD," which, as if announcing a political tender for the sale of Zef Brozi, advertised him as "a Sigurimi man, charlatan, unconstitutional, etc." and in the following days it published two photographs of officer types drawn from the archive files of the Ministry of Interior кадровë, who are currently employees of the Court of Cassation, and who, according to RD, had supposedly been Security officers, but as it turns out all this was a show, because, as those "promoted in the photographs" themselves state in RD, these were nothing more than photographic and propagandistic tricks, involving a former guard of the Prime Minister’s Office and a former French teacher. But RD forgets that there are so many former Security officers, whose names are not worth mentioning, who today belong to the structures of SHIK, of the Ministry of Interior all the way to the security squads of the state’s top leaders? Does RD forget that in the archives of the Ministry of Interior one can also find and arrange photographs of Ali Spahia and Pjetër Arbnori in police uniforms, or of Tritan Shehu as an officer of the People’s Army? In the series of accusations against Zef Brozi, RD also published a court ruling concerning an accused person for the 1989 crime of "agitation-propaganda," who was hospitalized for compulsory treatment, and on this occasion the judge in the case, Zef Brozi, is accused of "communist genocide." Fine, Zefi supposedly had a reckless person hospitalized, but RD forgets that those who today serve the political power of the PD, such as Rustem Gjata, Arben Qeleshi, Genc Gjokuta, etc., are the ones who sentenced citizens in court and sent them to prison for the crime of agitation-propaganda. Will these too one day answer for "communist genocide"? The Minister of Justice, Mr. H. Frasheri, also joined the frontal attack against Zef Brozi. In fact, one session of the government meeting was devoted to the "unconstitutional activity" of the President of the Court of Cassation that (continued on page 2)
